The Paul-Ehrlich-Berufskolleg has offered educational programs with a strong focus on vocational training for over a hundred years. Our main areas of expertise include the health sector and social services with an emphasis on personal hygiene, horticulture, floristry and hair dressing. We see education as our social responsibility, seeking to provide our students with the skills they need to become a valuable member of the work force.
We are located in the Ruhr district in Western Germany and cater to the needs of about 2000 students. A large part of our students pursues a higher secondary school diploma. In addition, many students attend our school as part of their apprenticeship within the so-called dual educational track. Our student body combines a large variety of different cultural backgrounds and nationalities.
Our school places particular emphasis on individual counselling and supports our students in their particular life situations. This holds especially true for our students with German as a second language and students with special needs.
We are looking forward to collaborating with schools from other countries and are interested in opportunities for shared international projects. Liebe/r Schüler*in,
unser ERASMUS+-Programm ermöglicht dir, Auslandserfahrungen zu sammeln. Wir organisieren für dich ein Praktikum in einem Betrieb, einen Sprachkurs, einen Schulbesuch u.a. bei einem unserer europäischen Partnerinstitutionen. Dein Aufenthalt mit An- und Abreise dauert ca. 10 Tage. Du erwirbst hier nicht nur wertvolle berufliche Kenntnisse, sondern lernst aus erster Hand Kultur und Traditionen im Partnerland kennen. Du besuchst Sehenswürdigkeiten, machst neue Bekanntschaften und entdeckst neue spannende Orte. Worauf wartest du noch? Koffer packen und los geht‘s.
